Well, I got my braces on. I am thinking that I am crazy and what have I gotten myself into. My mouth hurts all day long. I can't eat anything but soup unless I smash it up to mush.
Everyone tells me that it will get better, but I am not so sure. I am afraid I won't be able to do this for 2 YEARS....
I will say that I better loose some weight now that I can't eat anything. That will be a good plus.

awww... It WILL get better. I remember very well what you're going through, and it wasn't any fun, especially at first, but it becomes durable. And the two years go by faster than you'd think.
